Kyvir Seriblo was a human boy of Rexxentrum and the step-son of Aldreda Seriblo.
Description[]
Personality[]
Kyvir is a very curious boy.[2]
Biography[]
Kyvir was born in or before 828 PD as the son of a human woman and her husband,[3] Panvel Seriblo, a silversmith with a certain renown in the capital of the Dwendalian Empire, with his own establishment, The Center Stone, in the Court of Colors, in which he lived with his family.[4]
At some point the family hired Aldreda Tavelle as housekeeper. She was a tiefling performer of the Greying Wildlands who had travelled to Rexxentrum for a better life.[5] She cleaned the house and took care of the family and of young Kyvir,[6] and in 829 PD the boy's mother died of fever in winter.[7]
Aldreda became indispensable in the silversmith house,[8] and eventually he married her, with Aldreda becoming Kyvir's step-mother.[9] As of 831 PD she had given him a half-sister, Marii.[10] That year Aldreda's brother, Lucien Tavelle, found out where his sister lived,[11] and went visit her with enough money to start a new life. Kyvir opened the door when he knocked, being quickly scolded by Aldreda for having opened the door by himself, after which she sent the boy to bed, despite his obvious interest for the stranger that looked so much like his step-mother, and who friendly waved at him as the young human climbed the stairs.[12]

Trivia[]
- He calls his step-mother by her first name, but it is unknown if this is due to him still remembering his mother, Aldreda and/or Panvel wanting him to respect the late woman's memory, or Kyvir's own preference.
- Whatever the reason, he seems to have a good relationship with Aldreda.
