Krook House is a house in Jrusar located in Fownsee Hollow. It is where Ashton Greymoore and Fresh Cut Grass live at the beginning of Campaign Three.
Description[]
Krook House is located within Fownsee Hollow inside the Core Spire of Jrusar in Marquet.[2] The exterior is built into side of a rock face a number of platforms down from the top of the Hollow and about 100 feet up from the bottom, with its front wall leaning slightly forward.[3][4] It is three tiers down the Hollow from where Effid lives.[5]
Like most other buildings in the district, Krook House's dark exterior is decorated with colorful tapestry; it is covered with bright purple cloth. The door appears functional but as if it might sometimes lean open because of the angle of the wall.[3]
The House comprises multiple levels accessed by "odd" stairs and ladders, ultimately leading to the exit into the rest of the Hollow.[6] The interior is decorated with cobbled-together half-torn tapestries and strings of gems and beads of little value,[2] and it is said to be a colorful disarray of "intentional, deliberate, tattered edges".[7] Though vibrant, others may perceive it to appear destitute, and the air is said to be stale.[2] The occupants sleep on cots[2] and makeshift hanging cloth beds.[8] The space includes a workbench where Milo Krook works on their constructs.[8] It is lit by lanterns.[8]
