Geography[]

There is at least one mountain range in the eastern edge of Kahad,[14] the Kavros Mountains, through which the River Vrosh flows, and where Dol-Makjar is built;[15] the area is often hit by rain and thunderstorms.[16] There are forests near the city.[17]
Another mountain range, the Sunset Mountains, has a lake near it.[18] The mountains contain pink quartz.[19]
The city of Dol-Rungja is to the west of Dol-Makjar,[20] "more into Kahad".[21]
The city of Ezir exports satin[22] and imports the Candescent Creed's Filament.[23]
Bordering territories[]
- To the north, beyond the Dahapshanee Wood,[24] is the kingdom of Timmony and the region of Gormalay.[25]
- The Mournvale is in the far north.[26]
- To the east, beyond the Dvalmar Pass and the Kavros Mountains,[27] is Obridimia and the fallen Obridimian Empire.[28]

History[]
Background[]
Kahad was the land where the orcs rebelled against their god, starting the Shapers' War.[29]
Dol-Makjar, on the eastern edge of orcish lands, acted as their bastion against the dwarves who lived further to the east.[30]
Trivia[]
- The adjective and demonym related to Kahad is "Kahadi".[31][32]
- Although people from eastern Kahad are familiar with nightingales,[33] that kind of bird is not native to the region.[34]
