Josgren's Hollow is a village south of the Marrowglade Loch of Issylra.
Description[]
When the Re-Slayer's Take visited, Josgren's Hollow looked very deteriorated by the elements, with mold stains everywhere, and the air itself polluted with spores and dark particles of magic. They put up a sign that said "Silence will save you. Beware the whispers. Turn back now".[1]
After the whispers were defeated, the village's funds were better managed, and Janet became their leader, Josgren's Hollow regained its former glory.[2]

History[]
Josgren's Hollow has been ruled by the Josgren family for a long time. It used to host Potion Con, an event focused on potions that attracted people interested in the subject. The Slayer's Take once defeated a gibbering mouther in the marsh near the village, at the end of the 8th century after the Divergence.[4]
Around 839 PD[5][6] amalgamations of ghosts known as "whispers" started manifesting in the area and terrorizing the locals, even though a man tried to warn them about it (being imprisoned to avoid an scandal). They learned to avoid loud noises, using the strange mold growing in the area because of the whispers themselves to make their homes sound-proof, and warning outsiders. However, when most of a travelling group was abducted on their way there, the surviving member spread the news, and Timpani Guff and his team came to help. As they were investigating they noticed the neighbors very nervous, and willing to interact with them just to tell them to be quiet. However, when a member of the Slayer's Take, Igor, arrived and started shouting at them, this caused the whispers to appear.[7] After the adventurers defeated the whispers they were asked by the mayor to find the man that had been warning them about the whispers and solve the problem; they accepted, although they also agreed that they should find the way to punish the politician, since he didn't seem to be helping the villagers at all.[8]
After the whispers were defeated the adventurers returned to Josgren's Hollow, and Heera loudly announced it by blowing a horn. The neighbors seemed really happy, but when Vaughn tried to take credit for the situation and Heera told them all they deserved better leaders, Delphine's father kicked Josgren and then invited Janet to stay with them. After a farewell party for the Re-Slayer's Take the goliath became the villagers' new leader, and with his help, it was only a matter of days before Josgren's Hollow recovered from its dark chapter, receiving potion-loving visitors again.[9]
