Joe Manganiello is an American actor, producer, director, author, and Emmy Award winning narrator. He is perhaps best known for his roles as the werewolf Alcide Herveaux on the HBO series True Blood, and as Big Dick Richie in the Magic Mike films, as well as countless others.
Joe has for years been a Dungeons & Dragons player, writer, official ambassador, and paid consultant.[1]
On Critical Role, Joe guest starred as the dragonborn oathbreaker paladin/berserker Arkhan the Cruel in "The Final Ascent" (1x113) and "Vecna, the Ascended" (1x114). He also appeared in "Talks Machina #41: 'The Final Ascent'" (TMx41) and "Talks Machina #60: 'Midnight Espionage'" (TMx60) (via FaceTime). Arkhan has been one of his major continuing characters, for example also appearing in "CelebriD&D with Joe Manganiello" along with Marisha Ray as Keyleth and Taliesin Jaffe as Percival de Rolo in an Exandrian adventure.

- On Talks Machina, the host Brian Wayne Foster liked to "#ThankMyGuests" with names that were either mispronounced or wordplay that sounded close to their names. When Joe Manganiello was a guest in "Talks Machina #41: 'The Final Ascent'" (TMx41), his nickname was "Yo, Massive Fellow".
