Jidoh is a quanikka and the owner of the Jagged Edge glass shop in Kreviris, working in cooperation with Zhesh. As an NPC, he is played by Matthew Mercer.
Description[]
Jidoh is tall, rotund, and covered in fur that has gone white due to his age, with clawed fingers and toes, and tusks in his mouth.[1] While apparently aware of the activities of his business associate Zhesh, he wished to maintain plausible deniability about them.[2]
Biography[]
"Arrival at Kreviris" (3x87)[]
After Bells Hells contacted Zhesh via Sending and gained her trust by telling her they had killed Edmuda, she told them to go to the Jagged Edge and tell Jidoh that they were from the Ruby Vanguard and they were looking for a contract. With some difficulty, the adventurers managed to find the place, and met Jidoh while he was working on some form of glass craft he ended up breaking, frustrating him. Jidoh was cautious of the group at first, but when they gave him the coded phrase he left and minutes later, Zhesh arrived. He remained out of sight while they spoke to her about the Volition.
When the group requested a place to hide out and rest until sunset, Zhesh went into the back room and had a heated conversation with Jidoh before he emerged and angrily told them they couldn't stay there, but he was taking a walk. He did, however, sell Chetney a glass scythe before leaving. Zhesh then told them they could stay for an hour, but needed to be gone before Jidoh returned, as their presence put everything in danger.
