Hearth's Hammer is one of the Vestiges of Divergence, a beautiful steel-crafted hammer adorned with knotwork and dwarven runes, hanging from a thick leather cord. The symbol of the All-Hammer appears on the head, and its base is engraved with an image of a roaring hearth.[1] It first appeared on-stream in "Mirror and Key" (E4x03).

History[]
This hammer was among a number of Vestiges of Divergence and other precious treasures secreted away in the cache created by the Moonweaver in the Stormpoint Mountains. A traveling party was led there by a sign from a god in the closing days of the Calamity, and Garen took up the hammer.[5] He had a hazy memory of it having at one time belonged to someone close to him.[6]
The Hammer entered its Awakened State in the weeks that Garen's party sought out Lord Callister in Vasselheim. He used it to enchant a magic weapon for Rei'nia Saph.[7] It entered its Exalted State as he rushed into the temple of the Moonweaver in that city and Garen immediately used its new powers to obliterate a column that held up a swath of the ceiling.[8]
