Graham McTavish is a Scottish actor, voice actor, and author. He roles include the dwarf Dwalin in The Hobbit trilogy, Sigismund Dijkstra in Netflix's The Witcher, Dougal MacKenzie and William Buccleigh MacKenzie in the Starz series Outlander, William Munny in AMC's Preacher and Harrold Westerling in HBO's House of the Dragon.[2]
Graham also had multiple roles in video games. He provided the voice of Khan in Metro 2033, Sebastian Malory/Sir Perceval in The Order: 1886 and provided motion capture and voice for Zoran Lazarević in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Charlie Cutter in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.[1]
As a proud member of his Highland Scottish clan Clan MacTavish, Graham and actor Sam Heughan (his co-star from Outlander) wrote a best-selling book together, Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other, published in 2020.[1]

Although Graham was born in Scotland, he moved a lot around the world with his parents, from Canada, then the United States, to England, to then finally settling down in New Zealand. He went to the Queen Mary University of London and obtained his degree in English literature.[1]
