Gona is a cytaa symbiotically linked to Evoroa, a bormodo scientist. As an NPC, she is played by Matthew Mercer.
Description[]
Gona is very thin and has heterochromia, with a brown eye and a cloudy blue eye.[1]
Although Gona is somewhat skittish, she also has some temper, and shows courage and altruism when Evoroa's life is at stake.

Background[]
Gona bonded with Evoroa at some point when they were young, becoming constant companions.
In 843 PD, her bormodo was captured beneath the Engineering Bay, and Gona witnessed before running away, presumably goinh to the Volition.
"Mission Improbable" (3x90)[]
Imogen Temult, Laudna, Orym and Chetney Pock O'Pea formed a team to rescue Evoroa, and shortly after accessing the Prime Pillar they discovered that Gona was with them, inside one of their satchels. Although the cytaa initially complained for taking so long to arrive there, she quickly offered her assistance to find their way there and rescue the scientist. She, however, almost ruined the mission when, watching Chetney transform into a wolf, she screamed in horror. Luckily they weren't caught, and Gona guided the team hidden inside Imogen's coat.
When they finally found Evoroa inside a glass tube in a laboratory, the adventurers had to fight two reilora and one vidulch, and meanwhile Gona went to the tube trapping her companion and tried to break it to free her, without success. When the combat was finally over the Exandrians helped freeing the scientist, and Gona left the building with them, being assumed that she stayed with her bormodo.
"Broken Roads" (3x92)[]
Gona traveled to Exandria along with Evoroa and Bells Hells, and she was mentioned by Imogen to make the bormodo feel better, although the cytaa remained silent and hidden.
"Bittersweet Reunions" (3x93)[]
When the group arrived to the camp they met Keyleth and Dorian Storm, and the latter shared his food with the scientist. Gona appeared very briefly to take it. After that, Evoroa and her cytaa left with Keyleth escorted by some Ashari, to speak with the archdruid.
"The Cradle's Convocation" (3x104)[]
When Evoroa was brought to a meeting in the city of Vasselheim, Gona stayed with her, and when her bormodo companion had to talk about their home and their people, Gona showed her head for a moment to let people know she was also there.

Evoroa is Gona's bormodo symbiote, and they seem to be very close, with the cytaa being very worried while she was missing, and taking risks to make sure she was found and rescued.
Chetney Pock O'Pea[]
When Gona met him, she was somewhat scared of Chetney after seeing him transform into a wolf, although when Imogen joked that he was never okay, the cytaa misunderstood her and declared that the rescue mission would be done in honor of the old werewolf. She, however, ended up being impressed by the blood hunter's skills, briefly interrupting her attempt to free Evoroa from the glass tube to praise the Exandrian.[2]
