- "Fist of the Ruiner" is also one of the names of the Throne of the Arch Heart.
The Fist of the Ruiner is a crawler gang in the city of Bassuras in the Hellcatch Valley of Marquet with an allegiance to the god Gruumsh, the Ruiner.[1]
Description[]
Ashton Greymoore briefly described the Fists as "just whatever the fuck they want to be at any moment."[2] Some members have red tattooed tear-like markings dripping down one or both their cheeks from their eyes, a symbol of rank within their organization denoting their close ties and devotion to Gruumsh the Ruiner.[3] Members believe the desert conditions of much of Marquet are a mark of the strength of the Ruiner, caused when the god was prevented from destroying the entire continent by the hero Alyxian during The Calamity.[4]
The five gang members encountered by Bells Hells near Bassuras were driving a large and well-outfitted Ruin-Crawler (three-legged war machine 18 to 20 feet tall and 15 feet wide)[5] with a massive mounted gun turret on its top. It had multiple "jagged 'don't touch me' elements added to it", such as spears and spikes.[6] In addition to the central, multi-barreled gun manned by a half-giant, there were multiple mounted rifles along the center platform.[7]

"Reunion & Revelation" (3x30)[]
When Bells Hells, Birdie Calloway, and Hondir were leaving town to visit Oleander and Ira Wendagoth's workshop, they were ambushed by a trap-like fence device that rose from the ground and surrounded by five members of the gang as they crossed the bridge leading out of Bassuras. The gang, led by Maricris, stated they had "been marked by His eye"[8] and demanded they pay tribute by giving them all their belongings, including their automatons. Imogen then set off an explosive device at the base of the gang's Ruin-Crawler, and after a brief but intense battle, Bells Hells killed most of the brigands and destroyed their Ruin-Crawler by causing it to drive off the edge of the mesa. A few escaped, however, causing concern among the group that in the future, they might be marked as enemies by the remainder of the gang.
The party recovered 420 gold pieces and two carbine rifles (although no ammunition) from the bodies of the slain gang members.[9]
