The Stormcrest Mountains cover much of southeastern Tal'Dorei separating into the Stormpoint Mountains on the southernmost portion.[2] The mountains are framed by Syngorn and the Verdant Expanse to the west, the Frostweald to the north, the Lucidian Ocean to the east, and the Dreamseep Marshlands to the south. Beyond the mountains lies land unbeholden to any government, called the Rifenmist Peninsula.[3]

By 812 PD settlements in the Stormcrest Mountains, imported: livestock, lumber, grain, silver, arcane or spell components and exported: Lumber, gold, grain, red stone, iron.[4][5]

By 836 PD, red stone stopped being exported substituted by granite and quartz.[4][5]

Religion[]

By 812 PD and through 836 PD, the main deities worshipped in the region are the Arch Heart, the Dawnfather, and Wildmother. Several other gods have smaller followings: the Moonweaver, the Stormlord, the Ruiner, the Scaled Tyrant, and the Spider Queen.[4][5]

Vox Machina entered the Stormcrests during their quest to find the Vestiges of Divergence[11], after Osysa told them her mate Kamaljiori lived there and might share the locations of some of the vestiges with them.[12][13]
