Description[]
Fanny's small shop looked almost like a gazebo, with filigreed glass sides and a pointed dome, and was filled with interesting fabrics, leather, and natural objects such as leaves and vines. Fanny was a young woman described as "uniquely" made-up in a spray of color resembling "gorgeous drag", and wore a beehive hairdo.[1]
Biography[]
Fanny greeted Ashton warmly, but he could only rather incoherently describe the vibe he was searching for in his new outfit, which he wanted to reflect his new goal of trying to help and inspire people. She asked for something beyond just an aesthetic, and he gave her some potential samples he had stolen somewhere. She suggested an "antihero chic" look, and they settled on "legendary hero but make it fashion." He trusted her to create it without his approval. The clothing was to be ready in a few days,[2] but she managed to finish it sooner, since it was almost finished the following morning. While she was busy with the last details of the outfit, she complimented Ashton by telling them that, since some of their notes for the clothing design had been so specific, they probably knew who they wanted to be better than they realized.[3]
