The Fang of the Spire King is a legendary magic rapier. It was found by Fjord inside the statue of Zehir in the temple holding the final seal upon Uk'otoa when that seal was broken.
Description[]
The rapier looks like an ancient relic that bears beautiful and intricate snake patterns similar to those in the temple of Zehir in the Cyrios End Forest.[1] The weapon is beautiful and nearly weightless, and when touched has an almost static electricity-like sensation.[2]
History[]
"The Mighty Nein Reunited Part 2" (Sx74)[]
After the battle against the storm giant Thoonum and multiple deep scions in the temple of Zehir located in the Cyrios End Forest, the Mighty Nein were able to speak with the Betrayer God himself. Unhappy with the recent release of the leviathan, Zehir proposed a pact. Fjord agreed and received, as a gift to help re-sealing Uk'otoa, the Fang of the Spire King that was hidden in the statue of Zehir. After a short conversation with Kingsley Tealeaf about his new start in life, Fjord offered him the rapier and Kingsley gladly accepted.
During the Mighty Nein's group HDYWTDT? moment on Uk'otoa, Kingsley used the rapier to cut a piece of the skin of the leviathan to have some leather.
Known uses[]
In "The Mighty Nein Reunited Part 2" (Sx74), Kingsley used the sword in battle against Uk'otoa.
Features[]
The rapier provides a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls,[3] and can grant advantage on attacks when it is activated.[4]. It can also deal an additional 1d10 force damage.[5]
