Eldanwyn was the high priestess of the temple of the Moonweaver in Vasselheim at the end of The Calamity. As an NPC, she was played by Brennan Lee Mulligan.

Description[]

Eldanwyn was a mature elven woman who appeared somewhat worn-looking when encountered by Rei'nia Saph and her friends, probably due to the stresses of recent events. She had beautiful but slightly unkempt long, wavy hair worn in silver and plum colored wrappings, and had bags under her eyes.[2] She wore robes of deep plum-purple with flecks of sparkling gemstones, although with muddy tips from walking the streets of Shadowbrook.[3]

Eldanwyn, in her long life, had wielded some of the greatest magics of the Moonweaver and could not understand what had happened to her powers during the goddess's withdrawal during the Divergence. She was frightened and worried, feeling her connection with the divine faltering and blaming herself.[4]

Biography[]

Eldanwyn was a young elf at the beginning of the Calamity. During her long life spent exclusively in Vasselheim, she had seen the face of her goddess many times and felt her actual presence every time her magic was utilized.[5]

When Rei'nia Saph and her party visited Vasselheim after the fall of the Strife Emperor at Rybad-Kol, Eldanwyn was trying to deal with the loss of clerical power due to the gods withdrawing behind the Divine Gate. She listened to Nia's tale of the Moonweaver taking mortal form in her sister, Liana, and was convinced by her demonstration of Cure Wounds to take her to the bedside of the very ill Far-Seer Volsting. There, she watched Nia wield a new form of divine power to heal the elderly seer, and after being comforted by her, started learning how to use the magic of their goddess even with her being far away.[6]
