Edmuda was a reiloran enforcer for the Dominion of Cruth's disciplinary division, The Will. As an NPC, she was played by Matthew Mercer.

Description

Appearance

Edmuda was a very tall, thin female reilora, with dark, shark-like eyes. When encountered by Bells Hells, she was wearing tangled robes and shoulder armor that curved upward at the tips, fancy enough to denote her station with ornate metals and bones.

Personality

Edmuda was proud and "particularly cruel", and had "a terrifyingly penetrating mind."

Biography

Background

When the Imperium doubled production quotas in the outpost of Razora, Edmuda was sent there by the Dominion of Cruth as an enforcer. She was present in the place where the Bloody Bridge touched Ruidus, and joined a caravan of supplies with several members of the Ruby Vanguard, although she didn't speak much during the days it took to reach their destination.

"Red Rural Revelations" (3x84)

Edmuda appeared unexpectedly at the home of Elder Barthie in Razora (accompanied by two Shrikes and several Ruby Vanguard soldiers) while Bells Hells were there. After FCG tried (and failed) to cast Fast Friends on her, a battle ensued in which the Willmaster used her powers to force villagers to be part of the fight as her meat shields. Although Fearne Calloway managed to Charm her, the combat didn't stop, and eventually Ashton Greymoore knocked Edmuda unconscious. She was pulled into Barthie's home before investigators arrived, along with Petrov Godo and Verdo.

"Intense Interrogations" (3x85)

Initially Edmuda and the other two prisoners were placed in the portable hole to keep them hidden, but when Ashton opened it again she, already awake, immediately used her powers to Dominate him and force him to attack his friends. However, the Willmaster lost the capacity to control him the moment the hole closed, and when it was opened once more Ashton knocked her unconscious. Orym then used the Quintessence Array to take her psychic powers away from her for a day while granting him a single use of the Dominate Person spell, which he used immediately to interrogate her. Unable to speak telepathically, Edmuda was forced to verbally explain the goals of her people: to travel to Exandria after Predathos devoured the gods).

The Willmaster was kept isolated while Bells Hells convinced Petrov and Verdo that she was a traitor they had been looking for, ensuring that they wouldn't worry about her fate. The adventurers seriously considered using the harness to complete the absorption process by taking an entire hour to kill Edmuda and grant Orym a permanent boon. However, when they were forced to leave in a hurry, Laudna killed Edmuda with Hunger of the Shadow, stating that she should have claimed her power instead of Orym before consuming her life force.
