Den Mirimm is one of the twelve noble Dens of the Kryn Dynasty, and one of the three ruling Dens under the authority of the Bright Queen. They are in charge of law enforcement.[1]
History[]
Den Mirimm is one of the oldest houses in the Kryn Dynasty. Its founder, Abrianna Mirimm, was among the dark elves that left the Underdark for Ghor Dranas, being just a bit younger than the soon-to-be Bright Queen, Leylas Kryn, and one of the first followers of The Luxon as well.[2]

Over the centuries Den Mirimm has remained one of the most influential and respected houses in Kryn Dynasty society, and its Umavi, now known as Skysybil Abrianna Mirimm, is loved and respected as a source of knowledge and voice of reason,[3] a guide through the process of anamnesis for many Kryn teenagers,[4] and even the Bright Queen turns to her on matters of history and lore.[5] However, despite the respect she commands, the Skysybil became an object of ridicule in some court circles when she was reborn as a goblin less than a century ago. This experience, far from embittering her, has given her a greater perspective and she has become an advocate for goblinkin rights on the Lucid Bastion council.[3]
In 835 PD Den Mirimm was in charge of maintaining order and legality in Kryn Dynasty society, and one of its members, Taskhand Durth Mirimm, had been chosen to take charge of the Aurora Watch in Jigow, a relatively recent addition to the territory of the Dynasty.[6]
In the capital of Rosohna, Den Mirimm fights crime and enforces the law harshly and at times brutally. While in contrast to the Skysybil's affable reputation, this helps to discourage violent behavior in the streets.[1]

- Den Mirimm is the second oldest family in the Kryn Dynasty, only behind Den Kryn.
- While it is mentioned that different individuals of goblinkin ancestry are among the nobles, Den Mirimm is the only ruling Den led by a goblin.
