Cordelia Glask is the owner of the Glass Cat Casino, whose flawless exterior hides her inner turmoil. She is played by Gina Darling.

Description[]

When Cordelia was first seen, she was smoking a cigarette, was adorned in jewels and furs, and was wearing expensive imported perfume. She wears glasses and is 5'7".[1]

Cordelia's impeccable clothing and grooming in an attempt to emulate the upper classes is slightly fraying, and somewhat overcompensation.[2]

Background[]

Cordelia was born and raised in the KeGa Islands, worshipping Katma, the sea god of her people.[3] When Cordelia was about 12 or 13 years old, she entered into a bargain with other gods of the sea while standing on the shore shouting with rage because her family was lost at sea in a shipwreck and only Cordelia survived, alone in a new world. Something responded, offering her a desire, saying that the price had been paid: a mother claimed by dark water. The family had hoped for safe passage and riches and wealth in their new world, and since she could not have her family back, she took what they had desired.[4] The bargain ended up trading any sense of home and family in return for riches and ownership of the Glass Cat. She still believes the gods of the sea are fair, although she didn't realize the wish came with a continuing price.[5]
