The Consortium of the Vermilion Dream is a secret occult society based in Ank'Harel, Marquet, obsessed with the red moon Ruidus.

Viewed by outsiders as a harmless group of ghost-hunters, the Consortium is actually concentrated on discovering all they can about the red moon Ruidus and the mineral they view as its byproduct, ruidium.[2] Although based on the continent of Marquet, its members are comprised of occult scholars from across Exandria. Due to the expensive nature of its research, the Consortium is heavily profit-driven and aggressive in selling the arcane services of its members. They meet at First Eclipse, a tavern in the Suncut Bazaar of Ank'Harel.[3]
History[]
The Consortium is far younger than its rivals, the Allegiance of Allsight and Library of the Cobalt Soul, who tend to regard it with disdain. All five of its original founding members are alive and active within it.[3]
