The Circlet of Concentration is a magical item that allows the wearer to maintain two concentration spells simultaneously for two rounds, or twelve seconds outside of initiative. The circlet first appeared worn by Ulara and was owned by Scanlan Shorthalt after her death. Tiberius Stormwind ultimately convinced Scanlan to trade him the circlet for an Ioun Stone, and the circlet is presumably buried with Tiberius.

The circlet allows the attuned wearer to cast a second concentration spell while already concentrating on a spell and maintain concentration on both for two rounds, the equivalent of twelve seconds outside of initiative. After two rounds, the spell cast first fades.[2][3] It is made of silver.[4]

The circlet first appeared in "Glass and Bone" (1x08) worn by Ulara.[4] After she was killed in "Yug'Voril Uncovered" (1x09), Tiberius Stormwind took the circlet from her body and wore it, but after discovering that he could not use it simultaneously with his Ioun Stone of Reserve, he gave it to Scanlan Shorthalt.[5][2]

While Vox Machina fled from the illithids in "Escape from the Underdark" (1x13), Tiberius initially planned to take the circlet from Scanlan to use instead of his Ioun Stone so that he could cast Fly on the party while carrying the Horn of Orcus with Telekinesis; this was abandoned because of attunement requirements.[1] With Scanlan having exhausted all his spell slots before that encounter in mind, Tiberius offered Scanlan the Ioun Stone in exchange for the circlet in "Shopping and Shipping" (1x14), indicating that he felt that Scanlan was not using the circlet with efficacy and that the Ioun Stone would better serve him. Scanlan, played by the DM Matthew Mercer at the time, stated that he would think about it and decide later.[6] Tiberius brought the offer up again in "Skyward" (1x15),[7] and after some convincing in "Enter Vasselheim" (1x16), Scanlan agreed to the trade.[8]

Tiberius used the circlet for the first time in "Hubris" (1x17) to cast Fly on himself while concentrating on Invisibility.[9] When Tiberius parted ways with Vox Machina for good in "A Musician's Nostalgia" (1x37), he took the circlet with him, and it was presumably buried with him in "The Frigid Doom" (1x64).
