The characters in this category are never explicitly identified by their race but are presumably humanoid. They are often described as a "man," "woman," "girl," "boy", or the like, and many are presumably human. Theoretically, some could be a shapechanger posing as a humanoid, like a doppelganger (monstrosity), succubus (fiend), or oni (giant), or could be an undead who appears humanoid like a vampire.
