Caleb's Produce Flame is a conjuration cantrip created by Caleb Widogast as a wizard's alternative for Produce Flame — a spell specific to druids.[8] However, a druid later started using Caleb's Produce Flame specifically.[3]
Description[]
A flickering flame appears in the caster's hand for the next 10 minutes, harming neither the caster nor their equipment. The flame sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. The spell can be dismissed as an action.[1]
The caster can make a ranged spell attack with the flame — when they cast this spell, or as an action on a later turn, the caster can hurl the flame at a creature within 30 feet of them, although doing so ends the spell. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 fire damage.[1]
This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when the caster reaches 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).[1]

Trivia[]
- The explanation of why Fearne Calloway knew this cantrip before she met Caleb (and even when she met him there was no time to exchange magical knowledge) can be interpreted from the players' point of view or an in-universe point of view: it could be possible that Ashley Johnson was simply honoring Liam O'Brien by using a spell with his character's name that would be otherwise identical to the traditional Produce Flame cantrip; on the other hand, since Caleb became a teacher after Campaign Two, it is possible that he taught this cantrip to other spellcasters and knowledge of it spread over the years until it reached Fearne in or before 843 PD.
- During the the second campaign, Caleb's Produce Flame spell was available on D&D Beyond, but was removed.[10]
