A Butcher's Bib is a magical apron that helps its wearer inflict more damage with their attacks.
Description[]
Appearance[]
A Butcher's Bib is a black leather apron that is always dripping with blood, which does not wash off.[2]
Properties[]
While attuned to the apron, once per turn the wearer can reroll the damage dice of an attack made with a weapon, using the new roll. Additionally, weapon attacks that deal slashing damage score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.[2]
History[]
Campaign Three: Bells Hells[]
Marwa Endalia came into possession of a butcher's bib from some adventurers, who pawned at the Trove of Marwa. Because it was eternally bloody, she suspected they may have murdered someone, and was eager to sell it or turn it over to the Wardens of Jrusar to get rid of it. Bells Hells purchased it. At the time of purchase, they were unsure if Chetney or Orym would benefit more,[3] but Chetney subsequently took it and wore it on specific occasions.[4]
