The Bracers of Defense are a set of wristwear that gives a +2 bonus to AC if the wearer is using neither armor nor a shield.[5][1]
History[]
Grog Strongjaw had a pair of bracers of defense which were found on Delilah Briarwood's body after she was killed by Cassandra de Rolo.[6][7]
The wizard who accompanied Anna Ripley had a set of bracers of defense; Vox Machina claimed them from his body after the battle on the Isle of Glintshore.[8]
Beauregard Lionett purchased bracers of defense from The Invulnerable Vagrant,[9] and wore them throughout the campaign. Yasha Nydoorin commissioned a similar set of bracers from Wursh,[10] who then outsourced the enchantment. She picked them up some time later, but did not immediately equip them as she was wearing the Tuskborn Breastplate of Reprisal.[11]
