The blink spear is a magical weapon owned by Cerkonos, Flamespeaker of the Fire Ashari in 843 PD.
Description[]
The spear consists of a simple staff tipped with an obsidian spear and a few leather tassels running down its side.[3]
It is a +3 weapon that can be either thrown or used in melee, and does +16 additional damage. When thrown, its base damage is 1d6; in melee it is 1d8, plus Strength and proficiency bonus (if applicable). Its normal range is 20 feet with a long range of 60 feet. In addition, it has the Blink Steps property, allowing the user immediately after taking the Attack or Magic action to teleport up to 30 ft. to an unoccupied visible space.[2][4]
History[]
Cerkonos had the spear in his possession when he joined Vox Machina in their mission to destroy the Malleus Key and rescue their former member Vax'ildan imprisoned within it.[3]
