The Belt of Dwarvenkind is an item owned by Grog Strongjaw.
Description[]
Belt of Dwarvenkind is a highly well made thick leather belt with three straps across and a square runic carvings on the side. The one bought by Grog was imported from Kraghammer.[2]
Properties[]
While wearing this belt, the wearer gains the following benefits:[3][4]
- The wearer's Constitution score increases by 2, to a maximum of 20.
- The wearer has advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks made to interact with dwarves.
In addition, while attuned to the belt, the wearer has a 50 percent chance each day at dawn of growing a full beard if they're capable of growing one, or a visibly thicker beard if they already have one.
If the wearer isn't a dwarf, they gain the following additional benefits while wearing the belt:
- The wearer has advantage on saving throws against poison, and they have Resistance against poison damage.
- The wearer has Darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
- The wearer can speak, read, and write Dwarvish.
- Allows the wearer to use a Dwarven Thrower
History[]
Vox Machina purchased the Belt from Gilmore's Glorious Goods,[5] and it was given to Grog, mostly because he wanted to grow a beard.[6]
