This page is about the reilora encountered by the Bells Hells. For the character in Critical Role: Downfall, see Asha.

Asha is a reiloran child living in the Clutch, on Ruidus. As an NPC, she is played by Matthew Mercer.

Description[]

Asha is a good-natured child, more confident than her friend Kelito.[1]

Biography[]

Background[]

Asha was the child of one of the less privileged families of Kreviris, the reason why they had to live in Caeluma Kreviris, on the surface, and weren't considered important enough to be allowed to take shelter underground during the frequent dust storms.[2]

"Arrival at Kreviris" (3x87)[]

Bells Hells encountered Asha and Kelito when they arrived in the Clutch, where the children were brushing the ryndons. Both children trusted the Exandrians and had a friendly conversation with them. Chetney Pock O'Pea gave them a wooden rocking horse and explained they had to share it, even promising to return with a new toy if they behaved well. Shortly after that, Asha's parent approached, cautious, and after making sure that their child and her friend were safe, shared more information about the area with the party.

Relationships[]

Kelito[]

Kelito and Asha are Ruidian neighbors of similar age, and they seem to be good friends. Asha even speaks with him verbally, knowing he can't speak telepathically.

Character information[]

Notable items[]

  • Borse the rocking horse, a toy shared with Kelito[3]

Quotations[]

Trivia[]

  • Her name could derive from the Sanskrit āśā, meaning "one having the knowledge of morality".
  • Asha doesn't seem to mind speaking verbally, although it's unclear if this is because she's still too young to manifest that ability or if the culture in the Clutch simply encourages the Reilora to be more communicative with their non-telepathic neighbors.
