Asar is a young firbolg member of the Guiatao Clan, a child of Nila and Kitor. As an NPC, Asar is played by Matthew Mercer.

Asar and Kitor were abducted by a group of slavers called the Iron Shepherds.[5]
"Within the Nest" (2x28)[]
Nila and the Mighty Nein found Asar and Kitor in a cage down in the basement of the Sour Nest. Nila together with her husbund managed to loosen up cage's bars and free inprisoned firbolgs.
The Mighty Nein encouraged the reunited family to leave the stronghold while the Nein went off to fight the remaining Iron Shepherds. Nila said they would go to the Blooming Grove to recuperate.[6]
