An Acheron Blade is a sword that magically bolsters its wielder and frightens the foes it strikes.[1]
Description[]
Appearance[]
The blade is made from a black arcane alloy.[1]
Features[]
The sword gives a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. It also provides immunity to effects that turn undead.[1]
Dark Blessing: The bearer can receive 1d4+4 temporary hit points once per day.[1]
Disheartening Strike: Once per day, the sword can be used to, on a hit, fill a creature with unsettling dread. The target then has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes before the end of the attacker's next turn. If the creature is immune to fear it is ineffective against it.[1]
History[]
Kingsley Tealeaf had an Acheron Blade rapier, using its Dark Blessing property to bolster himself in combat against the minions of Uk'otoa.[2]
