Acheron is one of the Planes of Existence beyond the Divine Gate, embodying lawful/lawful evil.[1]
Characteristics[]
Acheron is said to be an infinite battlefield, embodying the ideal of order in battle. It represents the more lawful aspect of lawful evil.[2]
Inhabitants[]
Acheron is the native plane of multiple evil deities including Bane, the Strife Emperor, god of Tyranny, and Gruumsh, the Ruiner, an orc deity.[3]
Trivia[]
- Acheron Blades are presumably related to this plane.
- In 2nd Edition, Laduguer, the duergar deity, was said to reside here as well, in a realm known as Hammergrim. There is no mention to his divine realm in 5th Edition or in Critical Role canon.[4]
