A Taste of Tal'Dorei (T.O.T.) is a theme restaurant and dinner theater in Bassuras in the South Dregs. Servers dress as and impersonate famous figures from Tal'Dorei's history. It never closes.
There was also a buffet in the Maiden's Wish Casino in Kymal called "A Taste of Tal'Dorei".[3] It is unknown if there is a connection between the two.
Description[]
Exterior[]
The building housing the restaurant is massive and out-of-place on the streets of Bassuras, built in classic Tal'Dorei style (which resembles Tudor style). Its roof is a more-vibrant-than-natural brown and the walls have been frequently patched and repaired.[4]
Interior[]
The interior is filled with an almost overwhelming number of smells and mismatched tables, banners and tapestries hanging from the high central walls.[5] One tapestry depicts a triangular mountain with two hammers crossed in front (probably the crest of Kraghammer, another the crest of Emon, and one shows a tree with the sun above it, the symbol of Whitestone.[6]
A music box dangling from a rope provides the background music.[7] There is a large mirror framed in wood carved to resembled twining ivy on one wall.[8]

Ashton: You definitely don't need a jacket. I'm not even sure you need shoes.[11] - FCG: (about the servers) Orym, are these historical figures?
Orym: Uh... to a point.
FCG: Are they accurate?
Orym: No.[12]
Trivia[]
- According to Elder Barthie many people in Exandria have recurring dreams about these theme restaurants, and Ruidians learn about it because of them.[13]

The fight was apparently meant to be a reenactment of the Battle of the Umbra Hills where the Scattered War ended and Zan Tal'Dorei became the first sovereign, but in the episode, Zan's opponent was referred to as "Warren Drassig", when the actual battle was fought between Zan and Warren's son, Trist.
