A live tour to celebrate Critical Role's tenth anniversary was announced in October 2024.[1][2] While not included in the original press release,[3] the December 2024 live show in Camden, New Jersey was included as a tour stop in the social media announcement.[1] The majority of the live tour shows are set in Exandria; two of the shows feature the cast playing Daggerheart while the rest feature them playing Dungeons & Dragons.[2][3]

The tour has a tiered ticket experience with the "Fan Experience" tier including "a 45-minute pre-show Q&A with Critical Role's founding cast".[3] The April 2025 show in Chicago overlapped with the cast appearing at C2E2; similarly, the October 2025 show in New York City will overlap with cast appearances at New York Comic Con.[2][3] The cast was also present at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming 2025 in Sydney the weekend after the show.[4]

Unlike previous live shows, the live tour shows are not livestreamed on Twitch/YouTube and are instead aired at a later date.[3] In May 2025, Critical Role announced a partnership with Fathom Entertainment to broadcast the remaining shows (Sydney, Melbourne, Indianapolis, and New York City) in cinemas located in Canada and the United States.[5] Variety reported these four shows will be shown at "800 movie theaters" and, per Critical Role, it is "the company's largest-ever theatrical distribution agreement".[6] On June 18, 2025, Critical Role released the Tag Team at the Teeth prologue for the two Australia live shows.[7]
