For sidearm I guess an M1911 45 ACP semi-auto handgun would fit him, if with 21st century stuff to upgrade M1911A1 versions could be with underside rail and suppressor like the MEU(SOC) pistol variant.
Vid from Garand Thumb shooting this 106 y/o M1911 that's WAY more advance & much better alternate option than Orthax's trashy deal to make the first firearms such as the The List- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1smiOWim2o

Hello there! I recently had a thought that I think should be shared with the wiki, because one way or another would help us understand better one of our favourite characters: Percy de Rolo.
The deal is with his full name, which is Percival Fredrickstein von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III. "Fredrickstein" it's largely considered a reference to his father, Lord Frederick de Rolo, and "Klossowski" was his mother's surname. "Von Musel" is a tricky one, but if I had to bet, that's probably the surname of some famous consort in the de Rolo line (I'll explain more of that later). Now, the thing is, Percy isn't just called that. He's the third of his name, which means that there were other two before him in the family with the same name. According to the rules I know for same names in a family, the Sr., Jr. and numbers like III, IV, etc., are only used when the individuals share their full names. That means that if I'm Patrick Olsen and my son is called Patrick James Olsen he won't be Patrick Jr./II.
We don't know how exactly is that ruled in Exandria, maybe only the first and last name count, in which case there would be a Percival de Rolo I and a Percival de Rolo II, with their own middle names. But that's the thing, we don't know, so now we enter in the realm of theories. Please, bear with me for a few more lines:
A possible explanation that I soon discarted is that since the de Rolos were independent rulers, and considered not only nobility, but royalty, they made like kings and queens, discarting all their names to favor one when they become rulers. But that can't be it, because Percy only uses the III when he recites his whole name, and he did even before he knew for sure he would get back his life (more or less XD)
My current theory is that there have been three Percival Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo in that family tree, and I have the following arguments to defend it (but always open to discart them if necessary):
The fact that Percy's second name is Fredrickstein and not just Frederick, like his dad, makes me think that perhaps that follows a longer tradition. Stein means stone in German, and the de Rolos rule Whitestone. Perhaps Fredrickstein is a popular second name honoring an ancestor (maybe even the founder of the family) meaning "the stone of Fredrick" or something like that. It would have been used in other generations, and since Lord de Rolo was called Frederick, it was fitting for him to use Fredrickstein for his children.
Von Musel, as I said before, sounds A LOT like a surname, and I learned very recently that certain families, like the ones of President Kennedy and Biden, use the maiden names of an important female ancestor as middle names for their descendants (Fitzgerald for Kennedy and Robinette for Biden). My bet there is that whoever was surnamed von Musel was important enough to keep the surname around, and as we know, Percy gave it to his youngest daughter, Gwendolyn, as part of her name.
Now we go to the most interesting one, Klossowski, the surname of Lady Johanna. I come from a culture that always uses two surnames, but I know that in English-speaking places you usually use only one, and the mom's name can appear as middle names at most (like Biden and Kennedy families, as I said before). It makes sense that the son of Johanna Klossowski has her surname in his already long name, and Cassandra (Percy's sister) has it as well. However, if Percy is the III of his name, that means that other Klossowskis married into the de Rolo family before. To be fair, since they are a noble/royal family they probably sealed deals and alliances with marriages in the past, so that tracks.
MY CONCLUSION: There was probably a Percival Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo I at some point who was son of a Klossowski and descendant of a Frederick/Fredrick and a person surnamed von Musel. At some point either another marriage with the Klossowski happened or someone decided to repeat the first Percy's name for another reason, and we got Percival Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo II. And we finally arrive to our Percy: son of a Frederick and a Klossowski, and since he had a long name and von Musel sounded cool, why don't add it as well? The fact that at some point Vex and Percy considered naming one of their kids after him points that even if the name is long as fuck, it already has some history in the family, and a certain popularity.
So... That was long, huh? My apologies, but I'm genuinely interested in knowing your opinion about this, and also, if we achief and agreement about it maybe we could write about Percy I and Percy II in the article about the de Rolos (not talking about their stories, they don't have stories that we know, but just adding them to the list of members).
Thoughts?
After all his revolver somehow dramatized so much he's like Clint Eastwood's character Dirty Harry with his S&W Model 29 44 Magnum revolver.
