Thinking about the recent conversation at Template talk:Ep about chapters, where @OccidentalAvian and @SeiverEl and myself supported phasing out adding chapters to the template going forward (to which there was no opposition), the general fact that I have never seen anyone refer to the chapter system outside of this wiki (mentioned in the discussion at the template) except to complain about it, and that Exandria Unlimited is relevant to Campaign 3—do we actually need to maintain the chapter system?
It's an extremely confusing system, one that I don't think has ever helped navigation. If we need to group episodes, such as on the campaign articles or in character pages, there are certainly many more natural ways to do so. (The wrap-up for C1 has very sensible episode groupings, and the C2 wrap-up also has its own but the way Crit Recap Animated deals with chunks may be better for our purposes.) As far as listing episodes, I don't see why we cannot simply have a "List of Campaign 1 episodes" and a "List of Campaign 2 episodes", given that we certainly have space for that.
"Chapter 13" means nothing to anyone, but most people I know can roughly determine where narratively in the campaign episodes 2x70 to 2x76. (I legitimately don't even know if that's Chapter 13, I'm picking numbers.) It also implies that Campaign 2 is a direct continuation of Campaign 1 and that Campaign 3 is a direct continuation of Campaign 2, and they're not.
Overall, I just... do not see the continuing merit in maintaining the chapter system, which I've largely seen described as confusing and unhelpful.
